Progress

In the last four days they've got all the outside walls framed and now they are working on interior walls. It's starting to look like a house...

In other news I started back to work this week. I work on Mondays and Wednesdays. I had a good start with a full schedule both days so I'm excited about that. Usually working as an associate you aren't always busy, you usually pick up the slack of the owner, but I've been pleasantly surprised. Hopefully business will stay good for us. The staff has also been really nice and have made me feel right at home.
We go for our first doctor's appointment tomorrow, we'll let you know what we find out. Pray for a healthy baby (and mom)!

Busy Week

Apparently we love moving b/c we did it again this week. Our builder, who also has some rental property, called us Sunday evening and said some of his tenents had up and moved out. He asked us if we were interested in using the place till our house was done. We decided to take it so we spent the next couple of days moving some of our stuff from storage into our new place. It is small, but it is nice to have our own place and sleep in our own beds. Charlie's parents have been more than great to put us up (or put up with us, depending on how you look at it) so we are thankful to have them around. With our move, we moved Olivia into a big bed which she's done pretty well in. She and Claire are sharing a room now. The foundation of our new house is finally all complete. It is starting to look like a house now! I tried to get pictures of it yesterday, but my camera was out of batteries so I'll have to retry that.

The Pups

I finally got some pics loaded of our dogs. They have been really good so far. They still sleep quite a bit but they are starting to venture out more. The girls love them... even Claire. She has even started carrying them around and of course Olivia LOVES them, a little too much sometimes, but she is funny to watch. We've had some nice weather lately, even a nice thunderstorm last night. The builders are back to work on our house this week. They poured the main part of the foundation last week and this week they are doing the porches and garage. We are headed out there shortly so I'll try to get some new pics. That's all for now. I'm enjoying my last week before I start work next week... should be exciting!

What doesn't kill them, will make them stronger.... (check out the wind in her hair)

Allie and her pup (Brownie)... we got real creative with names (Blondie is the other one)

Happy Groundhogs Day!

Happy Birthday to Zane and Cheryl... our two groundhogs! Hope you both have a great birthday!

We have been spending a few days with my parents. It's been nice to be "home" again. We also got to spend time with my brother Kriss, his wife Kelli and my nephew Kyler. They came for the weekend and also brought along their new puppies. We decided to take two of them home with us. They are really cute, a cross between a German Shephard and a Lab. One of them is yellow, definately taking on the Lab, and the other is brown and black looking more like a Shephard. Allie and Olivia LOVE them and Claire is warming up to them. She says she likes her puppy (the yellow one) but she gets a little hysterical when they jump on her. She does pet them though. I'll try to post some pics of them later. Well, not too much going on. We are planning a little trip to the zoo later today, the girls should like that.
